Products from the German Erzgebirge are featured at the Weather-Vane Gift Shop located just a few short miles north of Oconomowoc, WI in the heart of the Kettle Moraine. Everything that is thought of as "truly German" is produced in a tiny region in Southeast Germany that was behind the "Iron Curtain" until 1990. Weather-Vane Gift Shop owner, Jane Tremaine travels to this region yearly to search for and find the workshops that produce "Smoking Men" incense burners, Nutcrackers, Music Boxes, Pyramids, Ornaments, and miniature collectibles. Since she can now import directly from the crafts people, the WeatherVane features a huge selection at excellent prices.
